OPCD’s Employee of the Quarter Patrina Duplessis

OPCD believes in acknowledging our staff’s successes to help them develop not only professionally but to also recognize their own true potential. With that goal in mind, OPCD has created the Employee of the Quarter Award to honor employees who go above and beyond to #SHOWUP for the City of New Orleans. Each of our Employee of the Quarter recipients are nominated by their peers for exemplary work and dedication to helping people both on and off the OPCD campus.

We are proud to announce that the recipient of OPCD’s Employee of the Quarter Award for the 4th Quarter of 2022 is Support Services Analyst, Patrina Duplessis!

Patrina Duplessis, our Support Services Analyst, began working at OPCD in 2020 as a temporary employee signing citizens up for meals offered during the pandemic. She was made permanent a few months later as a 311 Specialist, then promoted to 311 Supervisor. In August of 2021, she moved into the position of Financial Analyst, with a desire to utilize her accounting background, and has most recently, moved into the role of Support Services Analyst which involves processing the agency’s payroll in addition to a full range of human resources tasks.

It is fair to say that Patrina is a woman of many hats and has been a huge asset to the OPCD agency. Patrina exemplifies a spirit that we want to showcase at OPCD, that being a willingness to lend a hand whenever, wherever and, however.

“It is with great honor that I accept the title of 2022 Employee of the 4th Quarter,” said Patrina. “It’s a great feeling to know that my hard work and dedication to the agency has not gone unnoticed. My main goal when coming to work is to do more than what is expected of me and to treat my colleagues the way I wish to be treated. I will continue to strive for excellence within this agency.”

Thank you, Patrina, for all your hard work and your continued dedication to #SHOWUP!
