Patrina Duplessis
Appointed to OPCD Financial Analyst

It is with great pride that Orleans Parish Communication District announces the appointment of
Patrina Duplessis to OPCD Financial Analyst.

Patrina began working at OPCD as a temporary NOLA-311 customer service agent in 2020, at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, helping citizens apply for New Orleans’ Meal Assistance Program. Patrina’s ability to empathize and fully dedicate herself to aiding New Orleans’ residents and visitors earned her a permanent position with NOLA-311.

Her willingness to go above and beyond to help others was recognized, not only by the OPCD staff, but also by New Orleans citizens who would call to compliment her service skills. Patrina’s continuous growth in that position led to her becoming a NOLA-311 Supervisor in November 2020.

After months of dedicating herself to the role of NOLA-311 Supervisor, Patrina wanted to obtain a position that would utilize her finance skills, which includes serving as a former Accounting Clerk for Maloney Cinque, Taylor and Tyler AC and being a Head Teller at Greater New Orleans Federal Credit Union.

Her finance background earned her the spot as OPCD’s Financial Analyst where she now assists our Finance Manager in identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement, preparing reports and projections based on analysis, guiding the cost analysis process by establishing policies and more.

Congratulations, Patrina! We are so excited to continue witnessing your growth at OPCD!
