Shenita Williams to NOLA-311 Supervisor
It is with great pleasure that OPCD announces the promotion of Shenita Williams to NOLA-311 Supervisor. Shenita has been an asset to the NOLA-311 team since October 2021.
Shenita is a results-driven professional with over 25 years of experience being a customer service liaison. In her previous role as a NOLA-311 Telecommunications Officer, Shenita was responsible for clerical operations and activities of a high-volume call center and administrative duties with other agencies and officials in New Orleans.
Her ability to perform at a high level and fulfill local citizens’ service requests makes her the perfect fit for her new role as a NOLA-311 Supervisor. “I was elated when I learned of the promotion. I literally started crying tears of joy,” said Shenita. In her new role, she will report to the Director of 3-1-1 Operations, provide oversight of 3-1-1 operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of 3-1-1 services, and provide front-line supervision to the 3-1-1 staff.
